Rental Policy
Renter must be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license. The rental
term shall not exceed the expiration date of the license.
Renter agrees to pay the full rental amount plus a security deposit of $100. The deposit may be
applied toward damages, policy violations, unpaid tolls, fuel shortages, late returns,
administrative fees, or any breach of this agreement.
The vehicle shall be operated only by the authorized renter listed in this agreement. Operation
by any unauthorized driver constitutes a material breach of contract and will result in immediate
termination without refund and forfeiture of deposit.
Vehicle operation is restricted to Winston-Salem and surrounding cities unless prior written
authorization is granted. Unauthorized travel outside the approved area constitutes breach of
contract.
Renter affirms that they maintain valid auto insurance coverage. If no insurance is maintained,
renter must disclose this prior to rental. Failure to disclose may void the agreement.
Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at checkout. Refueling charges will be
assessed above current pump price.
Vehicle must be returned to the designated rental office. Unauthorized drop-off, abandonment,
or relocation will result in recovery fees, towing charges, and additional administrative fees.
Renter assumes full responsibility for tolls, citations, parking violations, towing fees, and any
administrative processing fees incurred during the rental period.
Damage & Accident Policy:
Renter is fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period,
regardless of fault, unless otherwise covered by verified insurance.
In the event of an accident:
Failure to report an accident immediately may result in full financial responsibility and forfeiture of deposit.
Vehicle may not be used:
Violation voids rental agreement and makes renter fully liable for all damages.
If the vehicle is damaged and cannot be rented, renter may be charged for loss of rental income during repair time.
